In dem 2022 neu gegründeten Quartett der Zürcher Saxophonistin Marina Iten kommt all das in längeren Formverläufen zusammen. Gemeinsam mit dem Bassisten Joël Burkhard, dem Gitarristen Joa Frey und dem Schlagzeuger Ramzi Hammad präsentiert sie Kompositionen, die einen energiegeladenen, abwechslungsreichen Konzertabend garantieren.
SAVRI
Swiss bassist Severin Bruhin has already celebrated considerable success in the music industry, having played international tours and concerts (Glastonbury Festival, Ronnie Scott’s, sold-out Jazz Cafe London amongst others) as a touring musician with artists such as Vertaal, Veronica Fusaro and Šuma Čovjek. He is now releasing his own music as an independent artist under the name SAVRI.
His debut EP ‚Not About Me‘ (2021) got airplay on national and international radio stations (Radio Swiss Jazz, GW Jazz UK). Following up, SAVRI played concerts in Switzerland and the UK in 2022 with his six-piece live band. They are now in the studio to record the second EP ‚Everything Is Gonna Be Alright‘.
