Dandara Modesto (BR/CH) Dandara Modesto is a Brazilian multidisciplinary artist, singer, performer, music producer, and researcher based in Zurich, Switzerland. As a researcher of the body and sound, she explores themes of memory, rhythm, displacement, reverberation, spatiality, ecology, decoloniality, and ancestrality. Throughout her career, she has collaborated on various projects spanning music, dance, theater, visual arts, and performance in Brazil and Europe. Dandara has produced, composed, and directed soundtracks for films and performances, including Movimento III_Celebration, post tsunami foams(Mario Lopes, KenooFilmi), Something about red-ankled migratory sing sing birds (Rhoda Davids Abel, Museum Winterthur), and Die Schwarzen Brüder (Mbene Mwambene, Theater Basel).

This is the music of a room. Moments spent looking outside, paired with the need to do something in order to get lost. Between memories and dreams, between the curse of constantly losing one’s keys and the desire to be a plant on a balcony overlooking the Sarine, between Ticino and Fribourg — “between saying and doing, there is the sea”.Fessure is the first solo album by Cedric Blaser. It gathers moments, ideas, and small sonic landscapes created over the past year and a half. Each track is a small drift, a sound window onto an emotion or an inner landscape. Aquatic textures, suspended guitars, layered voices, and long reverbs create an intimate, cinematic world, where the listener can lose themselves, and perhaps, find something too.
